The Movement Suite Terms & Conditions
1. General
By booking or attending a Pilates- or Yoga class, workshop or private session (âClassesâ), participants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for all clients and instructors.
2. Health & Medical Conditions
Participants confirm that they are physically fit and able to participate in Pilates and Yoga activities.
Clients must inform the instructor before class of any:
Injuries
Medical conditions
Pregnancy
Physical limitations
Recent surgeries or treatments
Participation is at the clientâs own risk. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains reserved in accordance with applicable Swiss law.
Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate accident and health insurance coverage as required in Switzerland.
3. Booking & Payments
All classes must be booked in advance.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise specified.
Prices and packages may be adjusted at any time.
Class packs and memberships are personal, non-transferable, and generally non-refundable unless required under Swiss consumer protection laws.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the scheduled class.
Late cancellations may incur the full session fee.
No-shows are charged in full.
The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes if necessary.
5. Late Arrival
For safety and minimal disruption:
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be permitted to join the class.
Late arrivals may still be charged.
6. Studio Etiquette
Clients are expected to:
Arrive on time
Wear suitable workout clothing
Grip socks are required for hygiene and safety
Clothing, jewellery, zippers, or accessories that may damage or scratch studio equipment should not be worn
Maintain respectful behavior toward instructors and other participants
Keep mobile phones on silent during classes
Use equipment responsibly
The studio reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone behaving inappropriately.
7. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. The studio is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
8. Liability Waiver
By participating in Classes, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with physical exercise and release the studio, instructors, and staff from liability for injuries or damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
9. Photography & Marketing
From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. Clients who do not wish to appear in such materials should notify the studio in writing.
10. Memberships & Expiry
Memberships and class packages are valid only for the specified period.
Unused sessions expire after the stated validity period unless otherwise agreed.
Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances at management discretion.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for booking, communication, billing, and operational purposes.
The studio processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Client data will not be shared with third parties except where required for operational or legal purposes.
12. Changes to Terms
The studio reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will apply to all future bookings and participation.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.

By booking or attending a class, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
